This year WIFT Victoria was invited to participate in the guild panel at the AFTRS Conference Make it! Joining a Guild: What’s In It For you?
On the panel our president, Margarita Ivanovsky, joined Charlie Carman (AWG), Doron Kipen (ASSG), Jonathan Brough (ADG), Camille Van Wessem (ASE), Sky Davies (ACS) & Madeline Getson (Film Victoria) to talk about their organizations and the importance of joining one.
Margarita had the opportunity to talk about the exciting future of WIFT Vic and the importance we place on support women in the industry.
This event also helped us to start talking about future collaborations with the different guilds. So watch this space!

The two-day event at the State Library of Victoria was jam-packed with industry professionals giving specialist career advice and inspiring participants to survive and thrive professionally.
