In November we were kindly offered a discount to the SCREEN FOREVER 2017 conference. It was 3 days filled with inspiring teaching, informative wisdom from trailblazers, networking, pitching and building new relationships with like-minded peers.
The conference covered the grave situation women face in the entertainment industry and the positive impact women speaking up is having on the issues of diversity and gender. Other highlights included the effects Netflix has had on the Canadian Entertainment industry, meeting the television buyers across Australia’s networks, learning of the new structure for ABC and discovering the future of storytelling in the worlds of Virtual and Augmented Reality. Those who booked early had roundtable opportunities as well as time to network, ending with a chance to unwind at the 17th Annual Screen Producers Australia Awards and the SCREEN FOREVER Gala Party.
This jam-packed conference is one not to be missed and we hope we can offer a discount in 2018.
