 A Film Event Celebrating International Women’s Day 2014

6pm for 6.30pm screening

WIFT (Victoria) and Swinburne Film and Television are hosting our second annual event for IWD celebrating women graduates of our leading film schools – a one night only screening of rarely seen, award-winning short films from Swinburne alumni  followed by Q&A with a panel of the filmmakers.

Then join us for a drink, finger food and networking after the screening!

Venue: Swinburne Film & Television Prahran Campus, 144 High Street, PA Building (PA309), Level 3

Last Days of Chez Nous screening and Q&A with Jan Chapman

WIFT (Vic) is co-hosting a special screening of Gillian Armstrong’s 1992 film The Last Days of Chez Nous on Saturday June 30 at 4pm at ACMI in Melbourne’s Federation Square. Produced by Jan Chapman and written by Helen Garner, The Last Days of Chez Nous features stellar performances from Lisa Harrow, Kerry Fox and Miranda Otto and was nominated for 11 AFI awards.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with award-winning producer Jan Chapman, whose other films include The Piano, Love Serenade, Lantana and Bright Star.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the ACMI box office – Full & concession $8; ACMI members $6
