WIFT VIC is thrilled to once again be partnering with St Kilda Film Festival to present Shifting the Gaze: Focus on Women Filmmakers, a live Q&A chatting through a selection of fantastic female-directed films from the Top 100. This extraordinary line-up of new films – all made by women – includes short documentaries, essay and experimental works, biographies and thrillers.

We are also is delighted to have producer, Leanne Tonkes, on board as host for the evening. A stalwart of the Australian film industry, Leanne is the CEO of Sense & Centsability, a development and production company that seeks brave and entertaining female-driven and gender diverse stories.
